Batch Transformation is something that can be easily added.
XNView and IrfanView are famous freeware that do this very well.

Batch Transformation is a simple method of stacking existing single transformation abilities to work on multiple selected files. It can include:
1. File format conversion (JPG, PNG, TIFF, etc) with output-image-quality slider option
2. File Rename
3. Image color-scale conversion (Sepia, grayscale, binary, 256-color/web-safe, etc.)
4. Resize, Canvas Resize
5. Rotate
6. Flip Horizontal/Vertical
7. Crop
8. Quick fix (Auto Contrast, Auto Color Balance, Auto levels)
9. Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, Saturation, Shadow/Highlight
10. Blur, Gaussian Blur, Soften, Sharpen, Enhance Edges
11. Reduce Noise, Despeckle, Add gaussian noise, etc
12. 3D border
13. Drop shadow
14. Lens
15. De-interlace
etc....

Many of these functions already exist in your good software, so it should be easy to make them available in stackable (multi-function) batch (multi-file) mode.
