when clicking on an image replace the browser window by a viewer of editor window, leaving the information screen available. return back to browser mode with a short cut

It is more comfortable to have a quick zoom in with the information panel on the side. Than trying to get a full screen picture in the viewer with no good access to the other information like histogram and pict and exif info. Especially with Netbooks the screen size is limited. Currently you use tabs and the image is put in the centre of a screen with a netbook the floating panels overlap the the image putting the image on the side (choice position left/right/center) allows more flexable useage on small screens as you have no slider bars for this.
